Personally I think that the car looks awesome, except for the low profile wheels that Foose tends to use. I was quite disappointed when they finished the Black Mustang that Foose did on Overhaulin, seeing those thin tires and big wheels. They just remind me of something that belongs on a wagon going across the prairie in the Old West. Although, isn't that what this is all about - Building something that you are making your own ??? If you don't add your own flair, then what have you accomplished. Lets take a poll offering several different cars, then color/paint scheme, engine, tires, rims, etc. and see what we as a community build.

Went to the Goodguy's Show in Pleasanton (CA) last weekend and saw Foose's Challenger in front a big sign declaring it a '70 Challenger.  We didn't think he would go out of his way to put a '71 grill and tail panel on a '70, so we checked the vin and saw that it really was a '71 (318).  Checked the C-C website knowing that some guys would know all about this car (and wasn't disappointed).
We also gave it a critical look over and decided that the bodywork was less than spectacular, although the paint was really first-rate.  The door gaps were so-so, and a few other things looked a little hasty.  I saw how his crew can maybe do one of these cars in a week.  Maybe if one of you is lucky, you can win a '70-'71 Dodge Challenger.

It IS a 71' Challenger... nothing about it is a 70'.  It's just ridiculous the way Goodguys are tryin to cash in on the hype (and value) that the 70' Challengers get as opposed to the other years.

Choppin, I love your retro Cuda too. I love all those old 70's wild paint schemes from back in the day. I have old hotrod mags and pictorials that are full of them. I'm not sure about those modded scoops though. I like the height, but I think they are tapered too sharply in the rear. The car is still bad ass though. If you ever sell it, I'd be the first in line.

Hey Will, I love the sidepipes on that black and white too. That car would look perfect with a spoiler and rear window slots.

Please don't send the dogs after me but that Challenger does nothig for me. Foose does do some works of art and fantastic work, but he needs to stay with street rods not muscle cars.  :nono:
