G/Box revers wireing
« on: September 04, 2006 - 08:28:21 AM »
I was under the car cleaning and noticed a two prong switch poking out of the back of the 4 speed box that had no wires off it so this must be why I dont have rev lite, could some one tell me if I ran two wires from said switch to the fire wall plug which socket would they go to,I did notice some one has cut two wires off the plug directly under the wiper motor plug would this be the one to rewire?

there is a single small plug under the wiper plug with 2 wires , usually black & black with a white trace , that send power to the switch & back to the tailights

probably for an automatic , it would ground the starter relay in the tranny to only allow it to start in Park & neutral , it can also go to the clutch pedal switch if your car has one
