Well,  the 2007 Calendar voting will be over in just 9 more days. . .

So. . . what will we do with the last two pages before the back cover??

Last year we created the layout below:

(By the way if you want a nice print of PinkIce made out of our member names click here:  http://www.ridesthatrock.com/cccom-2006-calendar/extrapage_top.pdf )

Put you creative thinking caps on!  :thinkerg:  Lets hear your ideas of what to put on these last two pages!   :ylsuper:

I think we definitely have to have the ones who didn't quite make it (same as last year). That's a given.......I'm pretty happy with last years too to tell you the truth, besides, I lost my thinking cap when I started drinking years ago.  :lol:

How about a quick rundown on the numbers?  Like how many Challengers were built, how many Cudas, how many had 440 hemi's in them from the factory, how many were headed east and west vs north and south....you know, the stuff that really matters.  Or you could list all the fender tag codes and their descriptions.  That way at the end of next year, we can all cut that handy dandy reference page out, and use it when we're looking at cars for sale, or when we attend a show...etc...

I'm not sure if we have enough time or how you would choose, but here are a few ideas that you can combine.

Pictures of the popular engines 340, 426, 440 preferable with the fancy dancy intakes, like a 340 6 pack, 426 dual quads, 440 could have a shaker set-up on top?

Pictures of the years gauges, like a 70 R/T, then 71 and up Challenger & Cuda's and also the standard gauges.

OR this could be a good one,

front and back ends of the model years so you would have the front of a 70, 71 & 72-74 Challenger with the rear of a 70-71 & 72-74 Challenger, do the same for the Cuda and group the same.

I know putting something like this together is doable but the time frame may prohibit it.  Just my  :2cents: to add some spice and variety.

This might not be the best idea, but how about some of the old magazines ads that Cuda and Challengers were in.  We should be able to locate some of the old magazines that they were in.

I like the ideas of a quick reference/factoid guide or old ads!  :thumbsup: (Makes sure to include '72-'74 cars!  ;D )

I was thinkin about it and wondered if we couldn't do something with the map, along the lines of what you did with the history last year.  Especially if we could show off our friends from other lands you know what I mean?  Maybe throw in some stats and or names?  I don't know exactly how to do that but that's something that Redline is great at.

I agree with NZ. It should be devoted to the ones that didn't make it. I also like the names of all the members being included in the calendar. :grinyes:

About the factory ad idea, if you need any, or just want to look at the ones in my collection you can click here;
