Fendertag
« on: September 06, 2006 - 07:58:33 AM »
I`m trying to get a new fendertag for my -67 Fastback, did recieve a document from DC Historical Corp. that told me the engine size, paint and interior. With the document I also got a IBM card with stamped holes.
For what the guys at www.datatags.com have told me they can figure out what the equipment from the factory was.
The only problem is that the IBM card is too blurry to see what the headdings of the card says.
Does any of you guys know if the headdings of the card says the same thing on all of the cards of the -67 A-body
and if so do you know where I can get this info
I`ve attached a pic of the card from DC
All help is very much appreciated
Many thanks in advance

Woohoo.
Got my new fendertag from AG Backeast.
Wrote to Daimler Chrysler Historical Collection and asked them if they could help me with a copy of an IBM card in blanco. And after a couple of weeks it turned up. A big praise to DC Hist. for their services and help.
Mailed the in blanco copy to AG and then they could decode the punch hole card.
A pic of the tag

Thanks Evil
Yes, I`m very happy that they could help me with this as it didn`t have a broadcast sheet or fendertag.

They have the IBM punch cards for the 67 and earlier cars, all the paperwork for the 68-up cars was lost to a fire in i believe the late 70's.
