How do you get fine scratches out of glass?

Topic says it all. What type of process can take out fine scratches? Anybody? Jim

I bought a glass polishing kit from Eastwood.  It included a polishing powder and buffer and a wheel.  I haven't tried it yet but I have heard good things about it.  As long as you take your time it should work great.

A razor blade also works well.

HHHmmm,never knew a razor blade would take out scratches from a glass surface?? But the buffing kit works great,the biggest thing is to keep it coated with the compound and moving.If you do stop in one place you can make a ripple in the glass.I have used the kit and its perfect,i would use a old peice of glass as a test bed.

It sure does! Give it a try next time, you'll be amazed. 

Just tilt it on a 45 degree angle to the glass and softly but firmly "file" away at it.
