Went to the auction today.............
« on: September 06, 2006 - 09:31:27 PM »
As a few of you know...I'm a licensesd dealer here. Anyway I get this call from a friend this morning who asks how come your not at Metro today??? (I was already at Copart and preparing to go to IAA) (All the sales here are on the same day  :swear: ) Any way..  :blah:  Anyway at dealer auctions it's GO or GO HOME... no time to do research, ask the significant other, pull the shoe box out from under the bed.

Soooo I'm looking at this 70 R/T 383/Auto...... convert!!!

Just one problem the spark plug wires are in the wrong spot! I hope I didn't make a big mistake..... never seen a 383 like this....

70 Chally R/T Convertible- Yes she's really got a HEMI, no she's not a Charger!

Big,

I hope you are kidding about the the 383.  It cleary says on the description sheet that it now has a 426 Hemi. :bananasmi Thus the center cover spark plug wiring.

Please tell us you got a great deal on a great looking Hemi Challenger Vert!!!  Also are you planning on keeping it or reselling?

Rev I was definetly kidding!   :roflsmiley: As for reselling... when I told my wife about it she said... I know you I'll bury you in that car!!  :burnout: I felt it was a VERY good deal. Have to call the appraiser tomorrow and get his opinion. Funny thing was I showd my wife the side view pic. She says why didn't you buy it.. :clueless: :clueless:  I says look at the pic... took her 2 minutes before she realized the pic was taken in our garage!!!   :woohoo:

Awesome car Bigs!  Great find!

Get us some pics with the top down catching some rays!
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.
