They must, i havent capped my cutouts in months, (daily driven), and no fuss.  :naughty: :lol:

all mopar ecus have a bad rep, but they dont really deserve it. if mounted solidly where the body can sink heat off, and properly grounded they will live a verry long life. the "gold" box can be fussy, but the orange and chrome boxes are pretty relyable.  I circle track raced with an orange box for 6 years without an issue. It was bolted to a flat plate welded to the cage, and had a ground wire to the intake. especialy for your daily driver I would run a seperate ground to the engine if you have had any issues. It never hurts to carry spare ign parts but hopefully with a litle prep you wont nead them
