Last year I think we had about 12 members with car there.  My trip is 1000 miles total and I've trailered my car there for the last 3 years.  When I get there, park the trailer at the hotel and drive the car from there!  We have a block at a hotel for everyone so we can all be together after the show.  Thursday when we all arrive, usually we'll have dinner somewhere . . Friday is the day we all go back to the hotel and have a parking lot party with pizza and beer . . and then on Saturday, we all have a dinner get together at Grandpa's Growlers.  I'm going to stay Sunday this year and make my journey home on Monday morning instead.  Hope to see everyone this year as it's going to be GREAT!!   :bananasmi

Just bought an enclosed trailer.
Can anyone give us some advise about where to park the trailer in the fairgrounds? Can I leave the trailer there for the weekend???
or if we have to reserve a spot?
any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
peter

If you book your room with the rest of us, you can park your trailer in the parking lot for the weekend and drive your car back and forth to the Fairgrounds.  That's what a lot of us do........     :cooldancing:

Oldschool: Thank you for the invite.......I already booked and pre-paid, I've been staying at a place in Enola for the past 4 years. But we def. have to hook-up.
I'm towing 1 Challenger. My wife and son might follow in the other. I thought the truck and trailer could stay parked at the fairgrounds...

Don, Rev. said she would get in touch with the motel and post reservation data sometime after the first of the year. Hopefully you won't have to use any of your "Military charm" to encourage her in this matter  :roflsmiley:  I can still see little Michael, the kid was near tears, I don't know if was from laughter or fear..........  :roflsmiley:

Definately do NOT need to use any of that "Military Charm".  Sir, I will get that information to you within the next 10 days, Sir!

I was wondering what times were the meetings. We would like to come to the Friday night Pizza party and would also like to meet for the Saturday night party. I would like to know where to meet if it was OK if we tag along and get to know some new people. Just about all of our friends that we have meet in the past 20 some years are people we have meet through the MOPAR functions. There are NO better people in the country. We are staying in the same Motel we were in in 05. This Motel is in Etters on the south side of Harrisburg. It works out great as we do day trips to see the Civil War stuff which we plan on doing a lot more this time. In all we will be in Pa., Mar. ,Vir, and WVir for 3 weeks doing the Civil War tourist stuff.  I guess I kind of rambled on a little. :blah: :blah: :blah:

Thanks for any info,

The Friday night pizza party is in the hotel parking lot. The Hotel is right off of I-83, which shouldn't be far from you if you are South of Harrisburg. The time is the question.  :clueless: Maybe 8-ish. The Saturday night dinner won't be all that far from you either. Again, around 8-ish. Do you plan on coming to the Carlisle Fairgrounds?
