    Where does the heating systen get it vacum from?

    The heating/ A/C system does not work on my 'cuda. As there in no vacum conected to the vacum system. I found a hole on the passenger side of the fire wall that has a vacum hose hanging out. Chould this be conected to the carburator somehow? I run a 750 Eddy carb. Anyone have map/ drawing of how it should be hooked up?

    The exact correct carb usually had an extra port on the rear for the A/C , it can be connected to the vacuum tree behind the carb in the intake

    I don't have the original intake either. It's a Eddy Performer 383 intake. The only port I can find is meant for power brakes. Same on the rear side of the eddy carb. But the to vacuum port for the distributer in front, can I use any of those. As I don't have vacuum to my distrubuter (Mallory distrubuter)

    there are vacuum trees available with the port for the Power brakes & separate smaller ports for the heater etc , If you cannot find one someone from the US or Can can send you one

    You need the manifold vacuum port on the carb, that should work until you can score a vac tree.  The tree is in the manifold so it has full vac all the time.  Check the instructions w/your new carb should show full/manifold port.

    I got the vacuum working using a port on the carb as a test. Where can I get a vacuum tree. Summit doesn't have them.  On that fit either the Edelbrock Performer 383 intake or 1/4" at the rear of the eddy carb. If soem one has a brand/ part number it easier for me to find it here in Norway

    If you can't find one locally maybe you could source something from the local hardware store?  I might have something you could use but it would have lots of extra ports on it.  It's from a mid 70's 440 I had sometime back.  It's in my box o bolts!  They should have the single line adapter needed at the hardware store.  I'm not sure on the procedure to ship overseas but if it's the only choice let me know I'll dig it out and take a pic.

    You might want to check eBay. There is one listed with a flattened port (the one you could use), but it does list a part number of 1944092. Run a search for "N96 VACUUM FITTING" . At least it gives you an idea. Good Luck !
