Vintage 1970 Challenger promotional calender
« on: September 11, 2006 - 04:28:26 PM »
Anyone ever seen one of these?  It is a wallet sized card with a 1970 Calender on the back. It doesn't have any dealership info on the back like the promo postcards I have seen, so I wonder where they were given out? Maybe the auto shows? The Challenger picture is that primitive 3D effect from the past. It has a plastic coating on it and when you move the card around the mountains in the background shift in relation to the Car and the bikini model.

I see it was a Thursday when I turned 8 that year. :icon16:
But more importantly.... it was a Wednesday (4-15) that was the SPD for my T/A.  At least it wasn't a Monday or a Friday, you know what they say about cars built on those days! :eek4:

I had a tired one that had a tack hole in it and wrinkles.  I bought this one I showed in my post off ebay a year or two ago for $10 I think it was.  I was looking through my promotional items and brochures today and ran across it.  I can't find my tired one though! :banghead:
Here is a '70 Challenger postcard from my collection.  These were mailed out by Dodge dealers.
