The insert wasn't even with the top so there would have been an air space around that the top could have showed a slight dip in.   Just getting all the surfaces even.  I'm putting on weatherstripping today...............

Weatherstripping today.  I was actually pleased with the fit of all the parts.

A little more tonight

The oldest of 3 grandaughters...(on the left in the car)( and on the left  at the park.).......When they graduate from high school the car will be 50 years old.!!!

In my humble opinion, the tail panel should match the grill and headlight bezels. On my car they are both argent due to my preference(and it took ALOT of thinking  :banghead:). So in this case, I say the tail panel should be black.  :2cents:
