Thanks for the votes......Black it will be.............anyway it is easy to change if I want to.  Mike I saw your picture..........and some of the other cc folks.  Good looking cars and owners...........I still think we need a thread with just the owners and cars to relate to when posting.

Just an update.  Haven't done a lot while waiting for  the paint guy to buff out my paint job.  Then I will have to pull the dash again and fix that small relay to get my oil and temp guages to work and then I can begin the interior reinstall.  I have drove it out the road and back a few times.  Tranny works well althought Ihave to add a little fluid.  The slapstick works,  Guess the neighbors will like it when I put mufflers on her too.......... :villagers: :villagers:

Hey, Dave, glad you're making progress. A friend of mine from way back who now lives in Raleigh has a 69 Mustang as well, but he's still in the early phases.  His will be Gulfstream Aqua with a white interior.

Well. My paint guys started the nibbing process yesterday.   2000 grit and then to buff.   I hoped they would have buffed today but didn't . Have to wait a little longer.    I did order my bumpers today.  Auto Body Specialities finally got a shipment in.   Should be here next week.  I will post pics of them when they arrive.  Right now  pics of the dull finish, and a pic of my Cousins recent project.

Finished the paint buffing today.  Big difference in the texture and shine.   Now some more reassembly...
