The chrome trim that goes on the smiley area right below the front bumper would be the piece I need to complete all the trim.   I may just have to do without.   Thanks, I will keep an eye out for that in the future.  More work this weekend........Taking shape now.........But still not rushing.  Don't want to get someplace and find out I left something off.

My son has updated the website also.    More pics there..................

just a question, what is that part?

Here's a pic from that auction. It went for $395. Another NOS set went for in the $450 range last summer; I won my used set for $305 total last year and plan to send it off whenever my car gets to that point...

OK Guys,

Only cause I love Ya.

This set is without any dings or dents. It is used, but in need of a date with a buffer, or to be re-anodized?  :dunno: I wouldn't hesitate to put this on a driver. As good as used gets. Any interest?

Thanks for posting Mek.  Since mine is yellow , the bottom piece missing doesn't show up very much.  If I had a darker color I may be more interested.   I will pass this time but will keep this in mind for the future.  I guess that is the only missing piece on my car.  I future may be closer than I think.

Since I got the dash straightened out I felt comfortable installing the windshield.   Guess next is the remainder of the interior.  Got to clean and recoat the panels and still the overhead wiring and console to do.  At this point since I have 73 wiring, I am thinking that the overhead console will be just up there and not functional.  Trying to get the car ready for the local Christmas parade.  The neighbot wants to sponsor my ride.

Thanks Dave.  I have  a work schedule that sometimes gets strange and then I never know when the grandkids are going to be here when I get home so it is sometimes hard to plan car work.  There is another guy close that has offered too.  He recently did the Mustang that is on my website.  I still have a few weeks so I think I can get her done.  Close enough anyway.........By the way, I don't think you are unskilled.   I was when I started this project.........but look what happened!!!

I got a 10-69 build date also but don't know the day.  I only have the original vin # from the old door that was replaced.  They must be close though.

I don't know how much help this will be, but:
My LA built R/T has a build date of 10/23 & the VIN number is 114710, the door is stickered with a 10-69 date.

If your VIN is 109592 - our cars are 5,118 builds apart.  I heard somewhere that LA used to average about 200 cars a day, so going through the math, your car must have been a very early Oct. build (around the 1st or 2nd).

Barry may be able to narrow that down a little closer - he was able to tell me that my car was probably built late afternoon on the 23rd!

Good information there Robert.   It would be good to know the exact day she was built.   I'm still making some progress......Got my rear valence back today.   I think it looks better now that when it went to the paint shop.....

She's going to look sweet. You better obey all the laws 'cuz it's gonna be tough to fly under the radar in that car.
