Thanks Chris.  I know you have very mixed feelings about your former ride.  I hope the new owner is taking care of it.  He was supposed to keep posting pics of anything he did.  But we haven't heard from him for quite a while.  Hope you are doing ok.  Remember it was because of you and your restoration that I really got the bug and tried my hand at fixing up my ride.  Thanks and take care, David

Exhaust is next.  Since I have the header pipes and such.......I am going to do the system myself rather than pay $250 to $300 for a local shop to do.  I got the car positioned so I can get under it and hopefully the sound will be what I am looking for.  Our Advance Auto has a pretty good selection of mufflers.  Glass packs to Flowmaster.  Back in the old days......Thrush was  the thing.  Well I am going to give them a try.    Old Woody Wood Pecker will be singing soon..............If this doesn't work out then I have only invested about $50 ....

Looks to be that it is going to be a pretty straight forward job with all that pre bent pipe,  good luck. :2thumbs:

Exhaust is on..........I had pretty bad tips but I patched them up until I can get new ones.  They still let the noise out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are 5 pics.   I tried to post a video but too large......I'll find another way.......

:clapping: have you run it yet.......................

The driver side tip looks to be hanging a little lower than the other side.  Can you tweak that a little, i can see that all the way from here in Australia.  :stirpot:  :smilielol:
Looks good though. :2thumbs:

Well she is on the road.   Got my insurance thru Hagerty..........Printed my ID cards and took the title to DMV.  Got the tag, mounted and took offf.   For an engine that has been off the road for 4 years that I have had her and I don't know how long it set before I bought it.....It runs well.   I have just ordered a throttle cable from Year One as mine is not quite right.  On the maiden trip, she did shut down once but it was because of a wiring problem.  Got that fixed and burnt some gas...........Still have to hook up the heat and such so I still need the vaccum layout for all those little tubes.    :1zhelp:  Until then......... :burnout:
