I am sure I lost some posts during the latest crash.  So posting again.... I wonder how a pie pan gets so beat up just riding around on top of an aircleaner top.  Got my new one today from Mopar Performance thur our local dealer.  $40 plus tax.   I just couldn't see paying $54 or $56 and shipping from the other guys although they do offer parts not in Mopar supply. Anyway some pics....

Also I replaced the transmission mount....

Dayley,   The pie tin gets chewed up like that from laying tools and parts on top of it. I guess that this isn't going to happen with the new one will it?

Nice update thanks

You should put a picture of the way the car looked before you started to restore her and how she is now in the center for that pie tin and hang it proudly in the house.

Did you take a side-by-side shot also that would look cool?

What made you decide to go FY1 Yellow?  What was the original color?

Well to be honest......I wanted a bright color that wasn't too hi impact, but would stand out.  After looking at all the colors available, I went with something that is brighter than FY1.   Lemon Drop....I think it turned out well.   The original color was the burnt orange but it had been painted before again so there were 2 coats on it.

Very nice. You live a great state with great family support by the looks of the pics, also. Sorry about the loss in your family. I'll be in NC over the 4th to visit family also.
