    Drove to Laurinburg to a local every Tuesday Cruise In this week.   My car had not been on an outing this far from home.  Its only20 miles or so but I just hadn't ventured that far in one direction.   She made it just fine.  Cruises good at 70 mph but I still got to get the tach fixed.  I know i wasn't running 8500 RPM. Anyway...........some pics of the cars there.........The green one is a Morris............

    Got to get that sweet ride out to farther location, you will be fine.  I have had mine 100 plus miles away a few times now, preping for a trip to Carlisle. :2thumbs:

    I was just trying to find my thread and  this shows just how much work and postings are going on on this site......The last post was on 9-08-08 and the thread had already moved to the bottom of page 6.  This makes this forum the most and the bestest I think.......and by the way.........HAPPY NEW YEAR.............

    If you are asking about the black and silver...........yes.........I used a satin for the black and  a Chrysler silver color for the webbing............Not great but 10/10

    Rust-Oleum   Satin #7777 Black.   If I remember correctly the prep involved some 0000 steel wool and elbow grease........... :bigsmile:  It wasn't in bad shape, just needed freshing up.  I also polished the unpainted parts with a buffing wheel and compound.. :working:

    Actually did some more work on the car this weekend.  Put on new shocks (front) and uncovered the original paint where they mounted.  Burnt Orange.  I guess they were the orig shocks.  And I put in the new torsion bolt and block I got from Moparal.   I thought my bolt was replaced and I could not get the front end any higher.  After I replaced the parts I realized my bolt was threaded and was just so caked up with crud it wouldn't go any more.  Now I have an extra bolt and block.  O well, its good to have some extra parts.
