Still doing some cleaning of parts waiting for the return of the car. Kind of getting in line the things I will put back on first.  The rally wheels are second after the chrome wheel well moldings.  So I am working on the wheels now.  I know the centers I have are not 70 but they are what they are.  They will do for now.  So a couple of pics  before and after.   I will post a pic of two tire/wheel combos later this week.

Those wheels were an extra set the I got with the car.  All of them are rusty in places so I decided to put them on while being painted.  A friend who is doing a 69 Mustang will also use them when he gets his painted at the same shop.  I would like to have a good set but, will deal with what I have at this time.  You know... Money required to do some things.  Anyway I got used to the rally set so I guess I will stick with them for a while.

Went by the paint shop today. Didn't take the camera :faint: ..Will go back tomorrow and get some good shots.  There was a lot more to do to the body than I realized.  Again, if you don't know how to do body work, don't... leave it to the pros. getting ready for primer (he said 3 coats). I guess this is good.  Anyway  a couple of pics of the polished and painted wheels...........( the dull looking is the before!!!!)

David, looking good, are those new tires? I haven't seen ROWLs in maybe 20 years.

Hey Wade.  The tires were on the car when I bought it 3 years ago on April 17th :cooldancing: :cooldancing:   They still had the little rubber tits on them.  They were fairly new at that time as the former owner was going to work on the car and then decided to finally sell it to me. I didn't know that ROWTs were hard to come by.  Guess I haven't looked lately.  Anyway ther are new to me and will last a while I hope. :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

Getting there.  Did you have to replace any of the sheetmetal?  What was the original color?  Red?

The only sheet metal replaced was the drivers floorpan.  Got  some issues on other spots but the car was fairly solid.  My site is updated as of this week.   Chrome polishing and some of the same pics here.  I finished the wheels today.

The original color was Burnt Orange but the drivers door and left fender may have been red as the previous owner had done some work !!

Wheels look great.  I need to check out the trim pieces updated on your web site.  I had the same issue with the floor pans, just a partial on the drivers side.  Are you still going FY1 Yellow?

Yep. Still going with the Banana.............   I think it is an eye catching color and there aren't very many yellow cars around here anyway.  And a lighter color will be easier to keep clean.
