Compared to top bananna.........brighter but not to the orange side....Anyway more pics of todays work....Taking the top chrome over tomorrow so he can redrill holes for the trim on the back window area.  I like the way he filled in over the fiberglass insert so the top will be smooth with no transition  noted over the insert.

I got there just as he was spraying the Clearcoat.  Foggy............He said that as long as we could smell the clear it was still flowing (getting smoother).  I thought it was pretty good  then.   They will put the top on first of the week, Finish the hood and trunk lid, do some buffing , spray the inside black, even though it will be covered up, he likes to seal the inside area.  Also going to  do something in the trunk area.  I like the splatter paint effect.  Of course the  engine area will not be to specs because I didn't pull the engine.  I think the black engine compartment will look just fine with the yellow fenders anyway.    :droolingbounce: :droolingbounce:

Hey Wade........up here we call it about the same except we have more chickens in this neck of the woods!!! :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley: :woohoo:

By the way.....so far there are 6 coats of yellow and 2 clear..........Had to order 2 more quarts to be able to finish the hood and trunk outside and that will be a total of 2  gallons.............. Not counting the black for the  interior and the stripe.............

Hey Greg.  How do you think this color compares now that we can see it with your Yellow??

From what I can see in the pictures I like it as much or more than my FY1 Top Bananna.  Yours seems brighter and a more deeper yellow.  I can understand why you chose it.  I had second thoughts myself only days before they shot it.  I wanted a yellow more like yours but I wnated to have my RT/SE to go back as it was born, original.  It was a hard call.  I REALLY like yours and can't wait to see some pictures of it taken outside in the sun light.

Mine went back into the shop.  Touch ups, and also having the RT black stripes go on.

Looks real good so far.

Here is my advice.  Get as much of any left over paint that he used and KEEP IT.  Be sure that he marks down ALL the codes he used to mix the paint.  If you ever decide to pull your engine and paint it you will be good to go.  Also good to have for touch ups when needed.  I like having the codes on the extra paint can, and also place the codes in another place (file it) in case you need to order more and lose the can.
