Dave,

Any plans on taking it to Mopar Nats this year?  That is if you are ready in time.  I am considering taking mine but like you we are at the ends of country.  I have relatives in Ohio and could make it a nice vacation road trip in the motorhome.

Not this year.  I still got a lot of work to do when I get it back. The only one working on it is me (except for the painting.)  Checked today on the seat coverings.  There is a guy here in town that is a rep for Legendary.  He is checking on price and putting them on too.  I know the catalog price but since he can get them cheaper and install I figured it was worth a try.  If not them guess I will become an upholster.  I do have a hog ringer!!!

Are they the checkered type?  That's what mine came with and will have once more.  Some one had switched them to black vynol.

My seats were from a 73 model.  I have to go with that year to order the covers.  Legendary, YearOne , and Paddock all have them for less than $500 for the set.  My guy in town....wanted $850 to order and install.   :faint:   As I stated, I have a hog ringer.....  Original to the car was leather but for now I will just get the vinyl in black and since it is for driving anyway, I will drive and drive and drive....

Well my paint guy got tied up a little bit so no progress this week or last toward the paint.  Maybe this week.  I'm starting to get antsy now.  I want her back home.  Anyway I ordered the seat covers today.  Dante's will have them to me in about 2 weeks.  I'll post some pics when they come in.

As I said before, my paint guy is a busy guy.  Hasn't put in too much time on mine lately.  However here are a few pics of recent work.    By the way, I got my seat upholstery today from Dante's.  Was made by Lenendary and they look great.  I will post a few pics of those soon.
I didn't realize I has the rust in the rear that he found...................

Took a few more pics today.  As I have said my paint guy is part time so it is taking a little longer than I thought to get this job done. However, he had found some previous work that he is correcting as he goes along.  I am glad.   I am also pleased with the results.  Pics attached..............The rear quarter panel looks much better...........

If it turns out well I might like to get his info from you and have him do mine.

Finally.........met my paint guy yesterday to finalize the paint choice.  I had originaly picked Top Bananna.  Well I thought that was a bit pale after looking at the color charts.   So I picked   Lemon Drop........... pics attached......  They are supposed to start on it tomorrow actually painting this week.......... :bananasmi :bananasmi :bananasmi
