Yes, a miniature Challenger Rallye scoops hood. Maybe a rump stripe cause a wing would be too high up due to the rear seats.

OK........started thinking about the correct exhaust tips for the car......When I had the exhaust done..........the $225 for the real split tips were not in the budget.........so I went with the $32.00 tips.  They fit in the cutout so I have not much of a problem with the way they look except they are not like stock.

So a question.........If I get new tips.........should I go with the chrome or the Stainless Steel?   AND who now has the best pricing?

I could go either way re: stock or not, but if you're going to keep entering her in shows stock will win you more points.

If you cheap out now and get the $32 tips, you'll be out $32 a side, when you decide that you really wanted the stock looking tips. Everybody will see those chevy looking tips and will talk about them right in front of you, not knowing that it is your car. A 40 year old car deserves the right tips.  My :2cents:

Hey Dave.........yes........I am seriously considering more shows and everytime I go........I consider the tips as being ok but not what they are supposed to be.  Some of the shows around of course are not mostly Mopar so the judging is not up to speed as to the correct tips, but I know and I guess that is where I need to make up my mind.....

I agree with your  :2cents: SD..........The exhaust was put on as you can see back in 2008 so I got the use out of the tips..........Wonder how they would look on my Nitro??

Now.......who has the best pricing around........??      There are members here that sell these tips I know.........Maybe there is a sale comming up we all could benefit from!!!!

Put a want ad in the parts wanted section. Members pull off stock tips when using TTI exhaust because stock tips are only 2".  At the Mopar Nats 2 years ago, I bought 2 new mufflers and 2 new tips, fresh off of the guys car for $150. Keep looking and you wont have to pay full price.

2" for sale here from a member.

I would try stainless. I have NOS chrome on mine and they are a pain to keep clean.
