Holley Carb question

Finally got the car started after a year and a half of engine compartment work. Had a few hurdles to jump prior to getting it started. Like priming the motor and reconnecting the power supply to the MSD because I forgot to. The carb issue i had was getting the pump shots to work again. The primary took about a minute under regular fuel pressure before they got working again. The secondary pump shot was not so nice. After taking the carb apart two or three times I finally discovered that there are needle/seat assemblies under each pump shot. The throttle body is not Holley. Its a Proform throttle body. I noticed they made a number of alterations in comparison to the Holley units. I don't have a  Holley to compare but does anyone have a spare that they can look at to see if there is a needle and seat under the pump shot? It got stuck and with a little compressed air it  popped out was working again.

the the ball in the accerator pump is moving again the pump should work , have you tried since getting it loose ?

I beleive from your question, your asking about the needle below the changable squirter nozzels, correct? Yes it should move freely, and tipping the carb upside down, it should fall right out. A little carb cleaner should free everything up. A race refresh kit from quick fuel will come with those and the other basic stuff that goes from sitting around the garage.

If your talking about the ball underneth the pump arm in the accelerator pump housing, I use a dremel with a very small soft brissle brush and carb cleaner to clean those up. Sour fuel can gum everything up, so be generous with the carb cleaner.

Thanks for the reply guys. The needle underneath the squirt valve is the one, It was stuck real tight. i did manage to get them both free so the carb is fine. I just didn't remember if they were found in a holley body as well as the Proform body. Apparently they are. Later
