Maybe we need a moderator in a different timezone.

With all the moderators in one continent (as they are now) theres 12-16 hours a day where the forum is un-moderated, Having a moderator in a different timezone might take care of that.

I don't think we need to worry, our mods are some of the best out there, they bounce very well. LOL, I'm confident it'll be cleaned up shortly.

I don't think we need another mod.  Just from my own personal "attendance", I've got all but about 6 hours covered.  Even then, I'm sure between Ross and Chryco on the left coast, those 6 hours are pretty well covered also.

Actually, the members here have been doing a great job in policing the site.  You guys are just as protective as I am. :roflsmiley:  We'll get this cleaned up, but until we do, we could use all the sherriffs we can get, so keep reporting them when you see them.  Thanks everyone!

We have changed the registration process to the forum.  Previously, membership was immediate after creating a user ID.  Now, members registering to the forum will have an activation link emailed to them which they must click before they can become full members.  Hopefully this will eliminate our spammers.

Good thinking Rev, I bet that will at least slow them down if not stopping them.

Thanks.  I hope it works.  The next step is pretty labor intensive for the admins.   :eek7:
