Pretty cool video and makes me remember when we ran the crap out of our cars and fixed them if they broke. A 71 Challenger RT I owned in the 80's had the same problem popping out of 2nd gear when you down shifted but up shifted great.

Too bad the car was missing a radio.  I am sure if it still had one, some Lynard Skinner, Nugent or Rush would have been playing!
Brings back memories of my mispent youth. :burnout:

My pleasure!
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Either just pure non driving four speed people or a weak clutch,it should have been off the road sideways after the first launch , dont ya think?????????????????????????????????????????

Why?  :clueless: My first Cuda had a 340 that was built pretty stout and a good suregrip in the rear. I could light em up and keep the smoke rolling out of the fenderwells through the first 3 gears. Never had a problem getting sideways or going off the road! The car always tracked straight doing burnouts. :burnout:
