You Might Be A Rice Boy If...

You drive around in a $20,000 import with $10,000 in mods.. and still live with your parents.

You have more exhaust decibels than your engine has horsepower.

You have aftermarket FRONT wheels for racing but stock rear wheels.

Your engine makes twice as much horsepower as torque.

You ever painted your wheels to match the same color of your car.

You put your automatic car in neutral at every stoplight in order to roll it back and try to fool other people into thinking you have a manual transmission

DuPont gave up trying to figure out the shade you were asking for.

Your mod list includes stereo equipment, shifter handle, MOMO steering wheel, PIA driving lights, exhaust tip, but no REAL engine parts.

A chameleon lizard undergoes fewer shade changes than your custom paint scheme.

Your rims and tires are so large, that you have to install the tire / wheel from underneath the car because it simply won't fit in the wheel well going in from the side.

The dealer laughs when you bring your car back in for service under warranty, and you've only had it 6 months...

Your tires / rims stick out from the lip of your car by more than 1".

Your paint job is from the WRONG end of the color spectrum.

You installed spacers on your STOCK wheels and tires to get them to stick out past the fender.

You see cars like yours in a Shriner's Parade for Children and clowns are driving them.

You bring an empty Maxwell House coffee can with you to compare size when you shop for an aftermarket exhaust system. Or you just decide to save money and you cut a hole in the bottom of the coffee can and stick it on your exhaust pipe.

The one about putting it in neutral and drifting back cracked me up - I had one do that sitting next to me at the light one day and he kept reving up his engine - I think thats what they are called.

I had one do that to me once. when the light changed there was a lot of smoke, My BFG T/A's and his whole car . It puked the contents of the tranny out on the street. When the light changed he was out of gear and I heard his car rev really high and then it started throwing parts out from under it. I went back and talked to him and help get his car out of the street, he had dropped it into gear at a very high rev. :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:

I think my friend and I had once figured out that a falling object accelerating at the rate of 9.8 meters per sec squared. At that rate I think we correctly figured out that a car would run a 9.5 sec 1/4mile  if was pushed off a cliff a quarter of a mile high. Get the idea? If he wants to run a mid 9 he can always opt for gravity as an engine an run the fastest it ever went. I tell that to most ricers...

You may be surprised, I had a 2002 Subaru WRX, had a chip in it, cold intake, blow off valve and I ran a 13.63...no joke.

It looks like you cousin did some mods to it.  I think stock the WRX is like a 14 sec car, isn't it?

10 seconds?  My wifes old Honda Civic was a 10 second car, 0-60mph in 10 seconds!   :smilielol:

My bother in law went up to New England Speedway in NH and said the fastest cars were Subaru STIs doing 12s in the 1/4 mile!  :22yikes:

ya , the new stis are kick ass. i was at hot august nights and there was this rich kid with a 2.5 rs turbo( stock 245hp). the guy had a wastegate upgrade, cold air intake and a 3" catless exhaust. he ran mid 12's and there were few muscle cars to challenge him. an r/t coronet and a gto were the only other street cars that beat him.

Its funny as hell to see the looks on their faces as soon as they realize that they have bitten off more than they can chew. Its like they wish they could put up a big enough smoke screen to hide in.
