I have given your situation a lot of thought & believe I have a solid plan for you to follow. Think of the people your mother knows outside of your immediate family that you can talk to. It would be great if it was your Mothers best friend but this would also need to be a person you feel confident in talking to. Ask this person to be a mediator and if they accept the position tell them the complete truth about all of the problems that have led up to this situation. Know that whatever you tell them they will be obligated to share with your Mother. This should diffuse the situation and hopefully give you a basis for mature communication in the future.

Best  Wishes  :sadwavey:

WARNING: Ive ben known to have some bad ideas...find yourself some 40ish MILF to shack up with an put the chally in storage for a lil while (a nurse is a good candidate here). Idealy this MILF would be a friend of your mothers, or at least somebody she knows. of corse make sure not to get her knocked up or anything truely dumb. but i think at this option your mom may be more reasonable..ok that or she wont talk to ya fer years.
your mom doesnt really seem to be up on things, does she realise that karaoke is singing along to back up music?? she might think its a new designer drug? or possibly if she does know what it is she just thought you must be on drugs to do such a thing ??lol

Hi, JRoss.  Sorry to hear about your troubles.  Doesn't sound like fun at all.

I agree with bigblock4speedman, you and your mom need to sit down an have a serious talk.

You mom seemed pretty cool.  I remember her taking pics of a Challenger she saw in a parking lot.

What's happened since then?  Your mom seems like she's pulling some pretty drastic stuff on you: She wants to sell the Cahllenger, truck, and kick you out of the house?  These things don't happen over night.

You're 18 now and maybe she's concerned about your future.  You don't have to say here, but does your mom know what you have planned for the future?  I think you graduated highschool recently, right?

Any parent would want a bright future for thier child.  I know I do for my kids.  Maybe your mom is just looking to see what your sense of direction is at this point in life.  Have you had a nice sit down chit chat with your mom?  This doesn't mean a shouting match.  If your mom is the type that likes to have control, you're going to have to hold your tongue and do a lot of listening.

You're 18 and an adult but you're still under her roof.  I have a single friend that just moved out of his parents house at the age of 34.  Man, was it tough on him.  Only child and mother VERY controlling.  Now he has a breath of fresh air.  But he's pretty established with his job and all.

Take some time and let you mom voice out what she has to say.   Listen to her talk and see what's right for you.

If all fails, see Plan B that chrisII posted above.  :smilielol:

She might have other problems you don't know about. Sounds to me like maybe it is time to move out.
If you need a head start get a roommate and sell the truck.  The Chally you should keep around   :2thumbs:

As far as your mother goes, tread lightly.  You don't know how long this change will last and you don't want to end up hating each other forever.

(what's with all this MILF stuff ?  you guys are sick)  :lol2:

Sorry  But I don't think you want to hear what I have to say but oh well While you are living under your Mother House you have to follow her rules, Been there done that, if you want to keep the thing that you want  then show her that you care and ask her what you can do to change thing      That my  :2cents:

I am here super blue just been really busy sorting everything out... My mom and I had a long talk the day before she went out of town so we got it all solved and by her being gone it gave us both a chance to cool off... The whole reason she was getting mad at me was because I didnt have a job but I took care of that and just got hired today at a local bowling alley thats brand new... and as for the milf comment from you all earlier your all sick I dont dig older woman like that... But the Challenger is staying and now I am gonna try and get rid of the truck which will make things so much easier... I really appreciate everyones feedback on here your all great people and I dont know what I would do with out my C-C.com family...

Speaking of MILF's....whats your mom look like  just kidding. Parnets want the best for thier kids and expect you to be all grown at 18. Tough years for kids and parents.
