Hmmmm the house next to me is for sale....I'll have to screen the next owners to see if they have a Mopar as nice as that!  :D

Nice story and car also.  My area was originally all chicken farms way back when.  The coops are now garages to alot of old cars in the area. I am surprised every time I cruise around and peek.  You never know what you will find.!

I dont have any neighbors like that, but there is a shop around the corner, that i know houses a 68 (or is it 9) super bee that run in the 10s, also a 64 426 wedge nostalgia pro stock. used to have a hemi dart drag car but have not seen it in a couple years. also used to house the  68 bee that sold last spring at BJ for over 200k...the next property to that is a racing based trans shop and i see them go by "testing" cars some times ...yeah i guess i live in an ok neighborhood

good for you.

as for me, i've got the only mopar of anyone i know except one guy who lives a half hour away.

my dad's restoring a 69 camaro and the guy across the street has a 69 chevelle which he says he's fixing but we cant tell because his shop's way in the back of his yard...

i think you should take pictures with both cars.  that'd be pretty cool.
One step at a time...

Great story!

I had my jaws dropped a few years back as one of my neighbours suddenly drove past in a 71 Challenger convertibe. I had my Satellite at that time and couldn't afford any E-body yet. This guy lives in a house six or seven numbers away from me and I knew he was into hot rods and even had an early seventies Olds fullsize convertible. I got so shocked as a Challenger drove by in this little peaceful street outside my flat without license plates. A few months after I run into him at the local pub and of course I had to get in touch with him. It was a 383 car imported from Sweden as he were planning to run it down the strip (Gardermoen Intl Raceway, only 5 minutes away from us!), but at that time he'd already changed his plans and the car was sold. Never seen it since, and I don't believe it sitting hid in any garage down the street anymore.   :hyper: He is certainly not any Mopar man and even his rod and Olds is also gone later on.
