Rev,
Thank you so much for posting the pictures for us.  We hope to meet you this year.
GB70,
Thanks for the kind words.  Yes, our 71 Curious Yellow was an awesome car.  There are quite a few people that wish they had bought the car when they had the chance.  That car was beyond words.  The quality of restoration on the AAR is almost the same as the Curious Yellow.  The undercarriage of the AAR will not be hand rubbed out like the Curious Yellow Cuda.  The AAR is done more like the factory did it.  It has the undercoating on the undercarriage.  The paint will be just as nice as the Curious Yellow.  Dan put all the glass in the car yesterday and all the chrome on the car.  He will be ready to put the engine in sometime next week.  He has been thrashing on the car and it will be ready for Carlisle.
MEK,
Thanks for the kind words.
71bigblock,
Thanks for the kind words.
Mopar_Guy,
Thanks for the kind words.  It will be nice meeting you at Carlisle.
Triple Black Hemi,
Thanks, yes you are right I think Dan is amazing too.  Are you going to Carlisle?
Hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.  Stay safe.
Pink Ice

Super job on that car! I would love to be closer to the "action" back east as all the best shows are there. I guess we have the show in Las Vegas but even that is pretty far away. When I get my car painted and all the bugs worked out of it I will have to burn a little vacation to make a big show and meet some people. I cannot wait to see this car finished   :droolingbounce:

bb71challenger,
Thank you for the kind words.  I understand what you are saying about be far away from the shows.  We are in Oklahoma so we have a long drive ahead of us to go to Carlisle but it will be well worth the trip.  We are really looking forward to going to Carlisle this year so we can meet a lot of you guys.

Great progress and great looking car!  :2thumbs:

By the way, what did you paint the engine with? Great work. Keep it up! I will be watching with great interest.

71_340Challenger,
My husband painted the engine with Restoration Hemi Orange by Mopar.  It comes in a spray can.  Hope this helps.
Hey everybody,
My husband started the AAR today.  It started without a hitch.  As soon as he hit the key it started right up.  It sounds and runs awesome.  This week it will get the stripes put on.  It is almost done.  It should be finished by this weekend.  Hope everyone has a great week.  Will post more pictures later this week.
