mystery AM 8 Track
« on: September 17, 2006 - 10:33:32 PM »
I have an am 8 track with a P/N 2884 544.  Also on the label is  Philips Mark 1  serial # 00613   73773   2018.  It is for my 70 Challenger and I want to make sure it is the right one but can't find a listing for the part number.  It has chrome push buttons and thumb wheels.  The dash trim piece in the car appears to be a bit too narrow to fit around the tape opening.  Does it sound like it's the correct radio for the car or did this unit come out of a different model? The radio code is R22.
Thanks for any help you can offer

Barry, its amazing how resourceful that webite is! Every day I look at links to it, tons of great info.

BTW, where is the R12 option? OR is that same as R11 but with a 3 speaker dash?
