I'd say that car is worth $200k+ as it sits. That is amazing.

Hi

Just couldn't restrain myself to reply to this thread. AWESOME, AWESOME AWESOME!
What a fabulous car. My  :2cents: (or advice) don't ever get rid of it. You have one of the rarest of the rare and only 10k miles. Would love to read more of the story/history in MCG. I can relate to your "if I knew then, what I know now" Corvair story too. My first car was a 1964 1/2 Mustang convertible. Good luck with the problems too, looks like you've already made some connections towards solving them.

If you are in Chicago, and needed your Hemi worked on.  You probably went to my father atleast once.  He was one of the only guys who knew how to work on a Hemi in those days.  He had a vitamin C 70 Hemi Cuda new.  His main shops were along Howard street in Chicago.  He was also big into the muscle car scene back then.  Worked on some prominent cars, and helped start Strange Engineering.  If you have any questions let me know.  I'm in Skokie, IL.

Ryan

PS... I still have the engine and tranny sitting in my garage from the cuda... hehe

Incredible!!!
Put some plastic or something underneath your car. Better yet put it in one of those sealed plastic storage bags with desicant (I think California car covers sells them?). I'd hate to think moisture seeping through that gravel floor might be rusting the undersides of your "worth its weight in gold" hemi!!!!
