Awesome car mate. If it were me I'd sell it, why? I like to drive my cars and having something that rare I'd shlt my daks every time I took it out, with 10Ks on it what do you really get out if it apart from looking at it and saying "You have a HEMI Cuda"? Both are good but you can sell that and buy several Mopars an #'s R/T Challenger 440-SIXPAK, 70 AAR, Coronets and still have money to enjoy for ya what-nots if ya know what I mean..........

Sell it at Barretts or to a Museum and buy a car to drive and enjoy.

its only a car, and can be fixed if anything happens to it (dont' push it) most of the times.   just make sure you have good classic car insurance on it and a dollar agreement on total loss.

Welcome aboard....Nice rare car that you have there. Congrats! This would be a good magazine article story.

Getting back to your original question....It does sound as if you have carburation problems. If not, I would suspect valves/heads. Drain the fuel entirely out of your system and start with fresh! Add av gas if you can find some along with the additive, but drain the old out first!

Year One should have the parts that you need. If you PM me, I know of someone that worked at the Chrysler Dealerships in the early to late 70's in the Chicago area as a mechanic and may be able to help you with getting the carbs rebuilt.

No, no... didn't mean anything negative.  I just know he has everything well in hand,  Didn't mean anything dis-respectful.

to me personally, hardened valve seats dont matter much if they are factory or not. my position on it is change them out, check the fuel system, rebuild the carbs and enjoy the car. It can be worked and be very drivable

After seeing it in person I can say with confidence that your car is nothing short of absalutely stunning! I have yet to see a nicer or more original example of an original surviving 71 Hemi Cuda.

What a car!
