That AAR sounds cool! BTW, this car is still owned by the original owner and has all 4 original tires as well, they even have good tread! :o

You are a very lucky man!---Great car!   :2thumbs:

I agree with the others about having the entire fuel delivery system checked/cleaned/replaced.  Whatever it needs.  The carbs are a straightforward rebuild with nothing too difficult involved.  After rebuilding them, spend some time setting them up correctly.  Not all that hard to do, but the dividends of spending the extra time are great.  If you are going to stay with the stock engine set-up, use this stuff---IT FLAT WORKS!  It actually uses tetraethyl lead, the stuff they used in the old leaded gas days.  Let us know how it all turns out, and how you like the octane stuff.....     :cooldancing:

Too cool! Imagine owning a "NEW" HemiCuda. Looks to be in mint condition.

The car is all original factory stock. Here are some pictures that are not to good because the car is in a shed with no windows. The darkness helps preserve the car.

super nice car with a mind blowing story that deserves a big  :wow:

have a friend with a similar story with his 70 - 340 4sp plum purple.
was his high school gift from the parents.
he would spend more time in it warming up in the driveway than on the
trip to school a mile away. havent been to the old neighborhood to see if he still lives
there and has the car lately.

as time would have it those things from the past are just forgotten.
talk about a time capsule. man one could only imagine what a 'breath
taker away' its got to be looking at that car when the door is open!

I SURE HOPE SOMEONE TELLS HIM NOT -- NOT TO TELL ANYONE WHERE IT IS STORED
FOR SAFETY REASONS. LOOK AT HOW MANY CARS ARE BOOSTED EACH YEAR. EVEN MORE
SO NOW WITH THOSE MOVIES OUT GIVING THE BAD GUYS ALL THE GLORY WHEN THE STEAL
THEM. LIKE THE OTHER POSTER HAS MENTIONED BETTER GET HAGGERTY OR THE LIKE
INSURANCE FOR IT - BUT AS MUCH AS THAT POLICY WOULD COST - MIGHT BE BETTER TO
BUILD A WALL AROUND IT LIKE FORT KNOX. :money:

Don't worry, the car is safely stored away and properly insured and will remain so until it's found a new home.

Here's a pic of it out in the daylight. If anyone here is seriously interested in the car drop me a line, I have tons of info and pictures. The car is simply an amazing survivor in every respect!

WOW! That is a great Story and the car is UNBELIEVABLE! I agree it would make a great magazine story. It is remarkable that you have kept it all these years with so few miles. I am sure Scott can give you some great advice reagarding the car.

Thanks for sharing the pics and your story. That's the stuff Muscle Car Guys/Gals Dreams are made of.
