I would try to find any of the inspection markings you can find and take photos so you can reproduce the markings as the car is redone. I would also take many pics of the motor. Many reproduction parts are not correct. This way you will know what you need and where it came from. You can never take too many pics. If you have a digital camera start at one and and take a pic of everything. You just don't know what pic you will need and be glad you took.
