I just found a couple lengths of my plow trucks tailight harness on the ground in my driveway last time I moved it-ya,mice had chewed it up,PITA!

My friend and I used to go rat hunting in his garage and basement. they're really hard to keep a bead on em when they go scurreyin by really fast. So we took some peanut butter and took a big ol wad of it and stuck it on some furniture shelf. Then we waited. After about an hour or so we knocked off 3 or 4 of them. Good fun.

Michigan is sounding pretty good right now . . . few rattlesnakes, no black widows or scorpions, no rats in my area . . . but I'm sure we have mice around here!   

i'M with you 4C down here in NW Ohio a couple mice but none of the other critters some of you have problems with.
 We have 3 cats that don't hesitate to knock around Mickey and his friends.

For some reason mice sometimes like to hang out on sunvisors and chew a nice round hole in the headliner!  I had that happen in my T/A one winter while it was stored, and have since heard more people say they have had the same thing happen.  Now when I store a car I always remember to put the sunvisors down!
I have been told Bounce fabric softener sheets repel mice so I throw a few sheets in the interior when I store the car.  I leave a sheet in the glove compartment and console too in hopes of keeping the mice away during the driving season.
When I started to disassemble the T/A for its restoration, I found a big wad of stuffing in the springs of the back seat, as I pulled out the stuffing I found the perfectly preserved mouse skeleton!

I haven't got the 'Cuda all torn down yet, but here are some pictures of a Chevelle project I had.  No, that isn't a mouse living in the Chevelle Hotel, it's a possum.  Took me a couple days to finally evict him.

Mice, rattlesnakes and black widow spiders....    We have some wooded areas around our house, so I've seen mice in our shed.    Thankfully, we have a nice healthy family of red hawks around which keeps them at bay.  It's great to watch these huge birds flying around. 

I have agree with Rev on the Mice, rattlesnakes and black widow spiders since I live in a near by city/town.  I live in a very wooded area and I spray my house regularly, but still seem to find spiders (no black widows yet...knock on wood).  I had my Challenger in storage for a few years and when I took it out, I found a mouse home in the area where the wiper linkage is.  I was able to remove it easily but have yet been able to find out how it got in there.  The only damage I found was to the insulation under the hood, which I do not use anymore. Those little critters are annoying.

I also have to agree with 392heminut on "the only good spider is a DEAD one!"

The only good mouse or rat is a dead one!!!  I used to live in the swamp, south of Houston so I had BIG ones to hunt, which we did and it was fun, the dogs killed them too, the didn't eat them, they brought them to a place by the porch and wait for me to tell them how good they did. They are smart dogs, and they do that here in Arkansas too, there are too many mice and  rets everywhere.  At least we have snakes too, the snakes and dogs usually leave one another alone.

I had a nest in the same area and I think they got in through the interior vents that lead up the the cowl.  There was mouse poop at the bottom of the vent outlet and seat stuffing up through and in the cowl area. 

My car sat in a barn like that with a flooded cowl from when it was parked outside and the cowl is rusty and leaks onto the floor boards when it rains.

The body is solid (no rust anywhere) and the windows were always rolled up when the car was in storage.  I do not know of any openings anywhere on the body, so I was just perplexed.    Also if the mouse was inside the car, there would be holes in everything, but the interior looked just like I had left it.

mice can get through the smallest holes ,basically if their head fits they are in , they used to be able to get into glass pop bottles so about dime size is enough , I have seen then chew out 1 bar in the plastic cowl vents & it is enough rooom for them to get through into the wiper area

Hey Chryco Psycho,
You got me interested, so I went to look again.  The cowl vents were not missing any bars, so I started pulling up on the sides and found a weak spot that was hidden by the rear seal for the hood.  I think you finally solved the mystery.  Thanks for the help.

Also I need too add another problem spider to Rev-It-Up 's list; the feared Brown Recluse spider. Small but harmful.
