I read the headline for this ad yesterday and got excited since it is fairly close to me...

http://www.autabuy.com/Vehicles/Details.cfm?VID=68880

Then I opened the page and I'm stumped... I dont see the pictures of the "great restorer" or the $5000 car...

dang... I thought I found a project for a second :)

Hmm,  :clueless:

It seems the good stuff might have all been taken here. No motor, or front clip. The interior looks taken. Even if the frame rails are solid, I don't know if this is worth 5K.  :grinno:

It sure would be nice to know what the tag reads.  That might make it worth 5k, might.

Xblade, just curious, What makes you think it is a gran coupe?  Is it the trim on the rear tail panel?

If the price were 2500-3000 K I might have to find some money, but 5 k is insane  :screwy:.

Right.  The boomerang looking chrome pieces are a dead giveaway for Grand Coupe identification in 1970.

As 360cuda stated, the tail panel trim was unique  in the GC's in 70 -71. The same trim was used on the 72-74 cuda's.
