Here are some pictures and info on my new toy, a 70's challenger funnycar originally owned and raced by the famous Kenney Goodell.
Kenney Goodell from Tigard, Oregon, ran an iron 426 Hemi on Nitro with a B&M Automatic Transmission from 1970 to 1972. The Fiberglass Trends body originally was painted blue for 1970. It then was painted purple and orange for 1971 with Kenny Youngblood lettering. Goodell was one of the first to break the 200 mph barrier in the Northwest!
Lou Sgro picked up the car I believe in the late 90's and ran it at tracks all over the country. The car turned out constant low 7's et's it the 1/4..
http://www.sgroracing.com/web/Web_pages/Photos_then.htmLou sold the car to a few buddies of mine that were going to continue racing her, but ran into some challenges. So they decided to part with her and I picked it up. My plan it to fully restore her and continue on with exhibition shows, etc.
If anyone has some old school pictures of this car when Kenney Goodell was racing her, please let me know.
Here are some pictures of her currently.
Thanks,
