    Did the R/T come in a six-cylinder in 1970?

    According to the 1970 Dodge Challenger brochure, the 6 cylinder was not available for the R/T, but you never know what could have been special ordered.  I don't even know if that could be special ordered even.

    Although, I do remember seeing a couple of years ago in a Mopar magazine about a slant 6 'Cuda. 

    Anyone else remember that?  :clueless:

    1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

    The seller list the Vin as JH23B0Bxxxxx which makes it a six-clyinder but the photo shows R/T badging........hum

    I am checking with the owner to see if he posted the right vin.

    B0B is likely a Challenger Deputy (coupe) the /6 was not available in the R/T. It has likely been cloned into an R/T?

    The coupes are cool cars, not overly rare, but still cool.

    See if you can get the full VIN from the guy, I have some Coupe stuff here waiting to be claimed......

     :iagree: If it's a JH car then it's non-R/T Challenger,

    Maybe they just threw on the badges?  I had a V6 Emblem on my 4 cylinder Acura Integra.  :D

    They must've just liked Vanishing Point.

    I checked your site all ready, and there is no information available. The car is a Hamtramck car, which now resides in California. 

    I asked the seller to send me a picture of the Data plate,…but have not received it yet.

    Super Blue, I wasn’t sure about the starting letters of an R/T car, thanks.

    If all goes well, I may have found myself a project car.  But alas, I have chased a few that have gotten away.  :hyper:

    My '71 318 (JH23) came with an RT badge on the grille and on both quarters back in 1980.  Whoever did it at least did a good job drilling holes and rustproofing
