cuda340:

I bought mine from Competition Engineering for $80 or $90.  They are "curved" at one end to fit better around the floor pan.  I'll post a picture of mine.  My car is a convertible and the C.E. connectors are for a non-convertible e-body, so I will have to do a little fitting to my parts.  Chryco's suggestion to use straight 1"x2" square tubing will be stronger than my curved pieces.

Here are my subframe connectors.  They were purchased from Chassis Engineering, not Competition Engineering like I originally said in my July 28th post.

If anyone also adds a roll bar with their frame connectors, it helps stiffen the body A LOT if you weld the short, inner angled bars (behind the seats) TO the frame connector!

Spot-welding the connector to the floor where it touches anywhere along its length also helps.

The frame connector come through the rear floor about a 1/2", which I think should make the body a little bit stronger? But you can always put a bent in the tubing, to avoid this! Both frame connectors only cost me about $20 bucks canadian and half a day to install. Make sur your car is on sitting on the ground and level.
