E Brake Release Handle?
« on: September 23, 2006 - 01:19:06 PM »
Where can I find the little plastic grommet that holds the release handle in place. Mine is broken, and it always ends up on the floor.

The handle does not come off of the mechanisim, but does not stay where it is supposed to.

Thanks,

Jas

If your asking about the Emergency Brake Release Handle, mine is t-shaped black plastic on a round metal rod, has a small round hole with what appears to be a metal roll pin holding it in place. Roll pins are common hardware store items. Use a drill bit to determine the diameter of your hole if you have this setup.

I have not found a good source for the plastic grommet / spring retainer , I need to cruise the assorted nylon plugs to see if I can find a decent fix
