Hello to all.I will start by showing this from the beginning.I wanted a challenger, found one.The first photo is the first shot that I saw of my car,the second is when I got it home. The car was gonna need a lot of work as you will see so I opted to build a dolley. Then started tearing into it,WOW this poor car is a mess.

I needed to get this thing a little more sturdy so I repaired the lower rear frame.I then located a roof and a very nice one at that.I knew that I was gonna need a doner car for some of the parts I needed.Thats ended up being a 72 challenger that I drilled hundreds upon hundreds of spotwelds. But well worth the effort

:scared: Gives me the chills just looking at it.  You are a braver man than I!  I don't know what your plans are with it - Resto, Mod or Show - but you might want to consider stiffening it up while you've got it apart.  I found this XV Motorsports kit that I wish I'd known about before my bodywork was complete.  With this and a set of torque boxes, you'll have a rock solid platform.

That has got to be the most extensive rebuild I've ever seen! That's the stuff that magazine series articles are made of. Have you thought about contacting the magazines to see if they would be interested in doing a series on your rebuild?

Thanks Guys.I will start by saying that I am having a great time with my challenger, and yes I must be totally nut's.But I have never taken a car this far before. And as far as magazine's go thats really not me,I am a quiet guy that just enjoy's automobile's,and that would make it like going to work.I have all the paperwork from xtreme.velocity and I am seriously thinking about some of there products,I have the dvd about the challenger that they built.Just need to sit down and watch it.I got to actually weld a patch in the rocker today and get some of the parts fit in and get some measurments.Heres a couple of photos for you all--------The clown
