Would this pump be good enough for a small block with 500+ hp?

I can vouch for the holley blue pump being about the loudest pump I've ever heard.......
70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....

  Sooo Funny guys.  :2thumbs:

I'll tell you, the Mallory I bought was so quiet I couldn't hear it with the engine off. Even when I felt it, I couldn't tell it was running. I guess technology does advance once in a while.  :burnout:

Here's another data point on the Holley blue pumps. I have two (2) of them running in parallel. Yes they are loud, but they both have been running smoothly for approx 15 years! The secret? I run them with a bypass regulator. It keeps them cool and happy.

I had a bypass regulator on my blue pump, had it for 9 years, no problems other than the noise.....
