The V5 moldings are "popularity challenged" these days, but they were very popular when these cars were new. Poor things.  :walkaway:

They were off when I bought the car and the holes are filled. So  :clueless:

No one makes new ones, and they were easily damaged. The moldings on the Barracuda models were surrounded by a pin stripe, but those get taken off too, finding replacements is next to impossible.

Besides, the cars look better without them.

Early Challengers did not get the woodgrain in the doors. I do not remember when they started to add it though?

Well, if you have a fender tag for a 1970 Challenger or Barracuda (production car or body in white) with B41 coded on it I would LOVE to see it.

Chrysler called the tags "body information plates" in the TSBs, they may have called them something else in other paperwork, bust most of us refer to them as trim tags or fender tags.

T/Ake care,
Barry

On the B41/B51 controversy, I agree with Barry on '70 E-bodies.  If the car had power front disc brakes, both codes would show on the broadcast sheet, but only B51 would show on the fender tag.  B41 and B51 will both show on certain tags (1971 through 1973 St. Louis B-bodies for example) but not on the 1970 through 1972 E-bodies.  1973 and 1974 E-bodies with power front disc brakes show only B41 on the fender tag.

Different MoPar assembly plants would show different equipment codes on the fender tags.  Lynch Road and Jefferson tags show very few equipment codes on their tags.  Some codes never show on fender tags, such as power steering, wheels and wheel covers, or heavy-duty suspension.

So your car has either a cloth or leather interior.

JH cars came with woodgrain door panel inserts, both my T/A and my convert are JH cars with woodgrain.  Didn't "deputy" version Challenger's door panels not have the woodgrain inserts?
