1971 Big Block Challenger N96 Car For Sale
« on: September 27, 2006 - 11:06:43 AM »
My 1971 Challenger is for sale. Vin is JH23N1B****** Car has fender tag and clear title. This car is a project that will need plenty of rust repair. Other than motor and tranny it is very complete. The N96 shaker hood and mechanisim are cherry. This car could be easily cloned to a 440 six pack or 426 hemi. Rust has hit the trunk, floors, rear frame rails, underneath back window, & torque boxes. Interior is complete but needs redone. Standard gauges, factory AM radio with optional cassette-recorder. Check out the pics, call or email with questions. No tire kickers please. $15,000. For an extra 10K I have a 440 six-pack available. Thanks.

I always thought that original shaker challenger hoods did not have the flat spot for the dodge symbol on them. I can see in the picture that the flat green shaker hood is that way so I am assuming it is original.

This is an orig. N96 R/T I had up until last year, notice the emblem on the hood.

The Challenger hoods without the tri star medallion from what I understand are the over the counter replacement pieces offered from the dealerships.   Real fendertag, and real car.   I am thinking it might have had a light hit up front at some point and the hood was replaced as the drivers fender is a 70.   :2cents:

Cudaguy, the color is GY8 Gold Leaf Poly, it just looks butterscotch because it was a gloomy/cloudy day when I took the pic...
