Valve Covers - 440 & 383 the same?
« on: September 28, 2006 - 02:13:17 PM »
A friend has a set of 440 valve covers for sale and I was wondering if the would also work on my 71 383.  From what I have figured out so far they should be the same but I wanted to check with the gurus first.

Thanks,
Ed

LOL Mike....you are a guru too :2thumbs:

Question 2: Is there any difference in the valve covers between 70 & 71.  He was not sure what year engine they came off of either a 70 or 71.

'70 and '71 valve covers are different in appearance.

   :iagree:

Like this year, mine changed from nice shiney chrome, to somewhat dirty and smeared.  :pullinghair: Can't wait to see how they change next year.  :eek7:
