tq into tranny install

i was wondering how much fluid to put into the tq b4 it goes into the tranny and also how many times to spin the tq b4 it sits down inside the pump completely?

You do not have to put any fluid in the converter. I put a little (1/2 qt) sometimes if I look into the hub and it looks absolutely bone dry. You will have three "drop ins"
1. input shaft spline
2. stator shaft splines
3. pump gear
If you put the pump gear "drive tangs" at 12 and 6 o'clock and then put the converter hub slots at 12 and 6 o'clock it will make it install easier.

I agree with the above, i also always bolt the flexplate up to the converter, and spray paint two of the corners. different colors. Because the converter will only bolt up one way on the flex plate, just makes things easier. (spray the plate and the coverter)

i'm pretty sure TAC can come up with any kind of picture to show you at anytime, once again, this was the way i was taught to line them up!
