Hello all

New to here. I live at Moparnuts but it is nice to look around at a site that can give a little more specialized info on E-bodies. I have a 70 hunka junka Challenger basketcase and I am in the process of getting my 71 Challenger painted. Hope to hang around here and get some good info.  :cooldancing:

Welcome to the site BB!  Nice looking 71! Are you going to stay with the same color with the repaint?

Glad to have you on board!

Thanks for all the replies. My car (71) had a white gut originally and I will put it back that way when I can afford to. It had a white vinyl top that I will put back on also. I came REALLY close to painting my car seafoam turquoise but I decided to go with the original color, EL5 Butterscotch. I just found out that my cars factory stripe was really just pinstriping and I had pretty much set myself to put on the non R/T stripe and that is probably what I will do. Here are a few pics of my 71 getting stripped down that show the original color. My other car was Plum with black interior and black top but I have no idea what I am even going to do with that one yet. Both were 318 cars with air. I have a 400/727 in the 71 with a nice 68 440 on the engine stand awaiting funds for a rebuild. Package tray area and an older pic of the door seal peeled back to show the butterscotch.
