Looking great! Although you might wan't to add slight support under the rear rocker panels or the front of the rear rails because with that much stuff removed from the rear it might flex if real unlucky. No need to get the tires up, just to lighten up the force on the rear leaf spring hangers.

But anyway, looking real good! Going with the plum crazy? That color just rocks!

Thanks everyone
Appreciate the advice KapT. No I'm am not going back to plum crazy. We've got a few two tone designs up in the air now, Sublime/Silver/B3 Blue  :dunno: That's a ways away

Thanks David, and I think you are right, the only difference is the Clown knows what he's doing   :grinyes: us  :grinno:  :roflsmiley:

Got a decent amount of progress going. We removed the inner, and outer wheelwell housings. The outer needed to be replaced, an the inner needs a good amount of work also, and by taking it out seems like the only right way to accomplish that. Access was a b!tch otherwise.  :swear: We split the two housings in half, and are going to use the old outer to fix the inner. The countours are going to help tremendously  :swaying:
Just got a new compressor this morning, so we hope to start a little bit of "fabricating" today  :clueless: :1zhelp:
Anyhoo, thanks for the support, and thanks to all who are posting their progress so us eneducated fools can learn a thing or two  :eek4:

Dude, great work!  :2thumbs:

When I look at your car it reminds me of the Bodyworlds exhibition at the Museum of Science, Boston, where they show the insides of people without thier skin.

Here's a link (graphic!!  :eek4:)

Hi all, thanks for the replies, and thanks for the interesting link there SB72  :22yikes:
Well it's been a while  :bricks1: Needed a little time to get my head on straight  :screwy:  :eek4:  :misbehaving:
Anyhoo, we've made progress, (not as much as we could have, Yes I know  )
I'm VERY proud of our first real attempt at fabricating. We done good, if I do say so myself  :clapping:
Though I did mess up my first attempt  :banghead: :pullinghair: (see pic #3)
My bud finished welding the inner wheelwell housing. Rust gone/looks great  :woo:
Got the little one to help out
Por 15'd most of what was visible before the panels go back on  :faint:
Finally received the new one piece trunkfloor from Goodmark, (as well as a new full quarter, and trunk gutter).
Drilled all the new spotweld holes in new trunk floor, and weldable primered the trunk floor accordingly  :dunno: :clueless:
Tacked in the trunk, after a decent amount of test fitting  :pullinghair:
Put everything in place for alignment,(and to boost my motivation  :jumping:  )
Next time we will fully weld in the trunk hopefully.
Thanks everyone, hope you enjoy the pics

Looking awesome!   :2thumbs:

That metal fab is looking great!  Wish I could do it that good!  Your're getting great experience with all this work!  Do you do this for a living?

Is that your nephew or son helping out?  He must think it's pretty cool that he get's to help out too!  That's nice of you!

I hope that's not a roll of "mod top" in the 4th pic!  :roflsmiley:
