    Cool, Widing! Good to see her being used properly! A little tip... don't wait for the green light. As soon as you see the amber lights, hit the gas.

    I had the same problem with traction when I first ran the 'cuda at an airfield in the UK; I had no traction in first.
    Book your weekend off now for the Mopar Euronats at Santa Pod next year; whenever I've been there they prep the track properly. I took over a second off the 1/4 mile time straight away when I was there (15.6 down to 14.4) and that was launching off idle and shifting at 5500rpm.

    Can't remember what the 1/8 mile time was at Santa Pod though. Did you get a speed as well or just a time?

    Thanks for the tips. I've been told by other as well to hit the gas on the amber light. Sadly no one told me that during the time I was racing. But I'll have a go at it next summer. I'm thinking of replacing the BFG T/A with some thing else next year. To get more tracktion, not only at the drag race stripe but also on the road. As the BF's a are dangerous when it rains!!!

    Well something like drag radials or ET Streets are gonna let you hook up, but definately will be worse in rain!

    Well I need tires that work great for street and OK for racing. As most of my driving will be on the street.
