I read through quite a bit of his feedback and even though they were are private you would think people would say if it took longer then stated. Instead I read some that say fast shipping, good product etc?  :dunno:

There is a time limit on placing feed back, some people will post neg at the last possible time and the person will not be able to respond because the time has expired kind of like feedback snipping.
From the e-mails I got my guess is they are offshore produced and they place orders as they need them which is what is causing the delay.

My green a/c three speaker dash did arrive yesterday and it looks great, we'll see how it fits before I give a good recommendation though.

Dave,

You need to do a little trimming around the AC vents, the gauge opening, and around the screws on the very ends. Not major surgery, and I promise...IF your pad is anything like mine, you will LOVE it!!  :grinyes:

One thing I did notice that I wasn't to happy with is the material is cut short inside the defroster vents , it doesn't look bad now but if it shrinks any or currells it will look bad.

In his ebay description its says you have to use your existing Challenger scipt form your old dash. How do you remove your existing one without destroying it? :clueless:

Lunchbox,

Back when I bought mine from him, I didn't have to do this for my 70. His new pad had the script on it. I would assume the script is just pressed in by a couple of pins, like the 71-74 emblem is. Try prying with a very small screwdriver, and see if anything happens. Worst case, would be it's glued on. That's my thoughts.  :2cents:

Hi
I received the final pad of my three pad order this week ,it is a 70 Challenger pad in Burnt orange and it looks good.
Alot longer than what was quoted for delivery but I did receive them. They do look as good as the one's I've had done by Just dashes though.
I should be installing the 73 Cuda dash in about a week so I post how it comes out.
Mike has said he had very little trouble with his so I don't anticipate any major problems, though the short material in the vents concerns me.
Also the script for the Challenger was in this pad, I think they mean you have to use the name plate from yours if it is a 71-74 car.

I really believe they are done here in the US, but maybe the delay comes when you order one, could be that he doesn't have a core, until someone sends one in you won't get yours built. That would explain why those who sent in their core first got theirs in a reasonable amount of time. Just guessing though. I would purchase from him again if needed. So far the consensus is that he has a quality product and that is worth waiting for IMO.

That is possible except one of my pads had some type of shipping document from Mexico on it.
When I placed the order they said all the pads would be to me in two to three weeks.
The quality appears very good but the delay in delivery makes me uncomfortable at the time not knowing the company, now that I have ordered and seen the product it doesn't bother me as much.
Also when I ordered I made arrangements to send my cores and there was no mention of needing them for the delivery time as they had cores to use.
I also will purchase from them if I need a dash in the future.

:2thumbs:  Sounds like he may have a vendor south of the boarder. My MP SS springs were stenciled MEXICO on the edge of the leaf setup. I just painted over it but it doesn't look good for MP products to be coming from outside the boarders IMO. Much of the stuff in a new car assembled here in the US comes from outside our boarders these days. I guess if the quality is there it's not an issue but it's still nice to see something stamped "Made In The USA".

Got my second dash pad from Ultimate rides, still looks like S#$! IT has almost been over 5 months now for the whole process.  :stomp: I still have a gap on the pass side and as of now my dash trim still won't fit. Maybe I am asking to much in the fit portion of the fit and finish. I will say the finish is great.
