Hey 71 BIGBLOCK.   Great find.   Mine was only 20 min from home.  http://big-dog.us/challenger/  Mine from the first pics at home looks like it is in good shape too.  Dig deeper...........You never know what you will find.  Good luck.

Nice find ... are you broke now or do you have some ca$h leftover for some upgrades?  What's the plan?  Buff the paint?  A week's worth of cleaning followed by brakes/bearings inspection and total fluids change?

Let the fun begin :)

Good luck with addition to the family ...

Rumblefish, I am super-broke, more than broke, ginormously broke, however you want to say it.   :bricks1: No upgrades now, still have to finish my 67' dodge

and my tractor

So, now with three vehicles and a tractor, and being only 19 I have a few investments, all which require  :money:

Most people have put away their cars up here.  They are talking 1" of snow tomorrow, none of which will stay, for now.  Im getting the car in a week and a half, so I hope to give er a good cleaning, hopefully drive it a few days, and maybe fix a few things this winter, nothing major.  I need to focus on one project at a time.  Thanks for the comments guys, I feel like one of the gang now  :cooldancing:

71Bigblock,

I really like your selections of projects.  The truck looks so cool.  So what's your plans with that.

Is that a John Deere "A"

Thanks FY1, the truck is there to restore, but without every little detail.  I didnt pay much for it, so it needs tons of rust repair, so what you cant see from the outside is not going to be repaired to specs.  Its going to be driven a lot, to have some fun.  These trucks dont get much attention, so they arent that expensive for parts, just hard to find up here in WI.

As for the tractor, its a "G" I bought last fall, about a year ago.  I completely rebuilt the whole thing last winter, and now it just needs a paint job.  I got all the bodywork done, but now its just a matter of finding time to paint it, it probably wont happen until next spring now, I want to finish the truck this winter.   :2thumbs:

3 miles straight north of New Richmond, dave on 65, the nice thing is they totally redid highway 64, which is what you would take once you get across the bridge in stillwater.  It would make for a quick trip  :grinyes:
