sccarts1, you're talking about the desire for muscle cars as it was a logical thing...

Sure, the new Challenger will be technically superior, but so have alot of cars since the early '70s.

I think most people dig these things for different reasons, none of which can really be reproduced in a factory.

Hell, half of the attraction is just in the simple fact that someone has kept a car together and in good shape for over 30 years.

Just my 2.3 yen. :-)

OK guys. I've been busy on the car this weekend. Preping the shell for media blasting on Wed. I'll have pics and info tomorrow. I've resolved the major "cluster f$$K" the previous owner created. It's taken almost a month to fix all the FUBAR's. Thank god for a donar 74 Cuda hardtop that Dragfish cut up.

Here's some pics of Nov progress. Wanted to post them a couple of weeks ago, but the site was down quite a bit.
I have purchased:
a front suspension kit from Just suspension $321.00
 Idler arm- Moog brand $49.00
And have had the entire body media stripped inside and out. $500
Bringing my total to $40,597.00
After stripping, the body looks to be very solid. Only a few very small issues.

Looks like you are doing a great job. Hope this all works out and the barracuda looks like a very solid car. I'm not a vert person but I sure love the looks of them. Keep us posted how things are going and keep up the great work.
